A Food Delivery and Pickup Service (Acquired by uSuite)

Rocket Delivery, a startup which was acquired by uSuite, had the goal of offering a competitive alternative to food delivery giants like SkipTheDishes and Uber Eats. It aimed to help restaurants with their food delivery and pickup services by providing them with better margins and more control over their services.

As a key developer and co-founder, I played a significant role in the design and development process of Rocket Delivery. One of the prominent features that Rocket offered was the real-time data transfer and communication between restaurants, couriers, and customers. To achieve this, a microservice architecture was employed, leveraging technologies such as GraphQL, Apollo, Postgres, NodeJS, and Google Cloud. This approach ensured the application's scalability, reliability, and performance, ultimately creating a robust platform that offers restaurants, couriers, and customers a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to the food delivery giants.
